The last story I told you about was a failure. It is only now that I seem to recover from it. I have been working on SEVERAL projects since then. I am now only wishing to say that it finally seems that I am making progress. I will not upload stories here. At least not many. My main reason to post this entry now is to make the last one disappear. I am now making progress in stories, I am drawing a new character of me, and the sight of an old problem just does not fit into this picture.

About dancing. I gave Odissi up, and started learning Bharatanatyam. I have a wonderful teacher - you can imagine, the Goddess herself (I mean, she is a real material person but has a character similar to that of a divine being) - and now it seems that I will finally be able to dance what I really want. This makes me feel wonderful and gives me much strength to go on and live. It is a reason to dream. Thank you, Dora. (My teacher.)

At school things seem to go like normal. I am happy with my marks in general. This is something that can really make one feel content. Most of the pressure I was uner last year disappeared. I am a freer person now.

Every morning I wake up early and do a Kundalini Yoga Sadhana and an Ashtanga Yoga workout. These are things for which it is worth to wake up early - even at 4.30 in the morning. They give me peace, love and power to make progress.

And now, all of you, have some Bharatanatyam. It is truly the dace of the gods. The dancer is my wonderful and talented teacher, Bittner Dora Meenakshi.

Well. I write stories. I paint pictures. I dance. I live.

My point exactly.

One more thing... may I ask, where your nickname (I mean, brjaladur) comes from? It sounds rather interesting and Nordic and ancient.

Well, I was looking for an interesting nickname, and because I like Iceland a lot I decided to use a word from that language. (Though I don't speak it. Not yet at least, but I want to learn it.) According to various dictionaries it means "crazy" in Icelandic. I liked it, so now I'm using it.

You are welcome, it was well deserved. I have never before seen such a depiction of Shiva, which is both masculine and fits the old traditions. (To me it is still a difficult thing, matching the worship of Shiva lingams to his usually androgynos or rather feminie face.)Also, the realism and the details are truly awesome, the work that is put into this picture is really visible.

Thank you very much for the watch :)
Since you are a Bharatanatyam dancer, do you intend to post some dancing photographies ?

You're very welcome, you deserved it :)
Well, to tell you the truth, I am still a learner a Bharatanatyam and did not yet have my first stage performance. So at the moment I have no official photos to share, sorry.

No problem, don't worry. Anyway, when you feel ready, I'd be interested to see photos, especially if you 'd agree and authorized me to use them as references for my drawings :) (talking about hands of course :) )
